Meet our Staff at Monart!

Each of our staff members is a highly qualified instructor and a caring, creative individual for whom art has played a pivotal role in life. At Monart we each come from diverse backgrounds and with different experiences, but we all have been trained and strongly believe in the Monart Method and philosophy and in the importance of the arts in the quality of one's life and in the community.

Garrett Taylor Owner/Operator

Garrett Taylor is originally from a small town in southern West Virginia. After high school, he served four (4) years in the United States Marine Corps and received a honorable discharge upon leaving. He moved to the tri-state area to transfer into University of Cincinnati’s architectural engineering technology program but changed studies and obtained a bachelors degree in construction management. After 14 years of managing the complexities of the construction process, he felt it was time for a career change to an area that he had always wanted to study, ART, and to an occupation where he felt the impact would benefit both his families life and the community. Following an entrepreneurial itch, he researched numerous businesses and franchises with the above ingredients in mind and discovered the perfect match. Monart. He has received the Monart franchise business training and is also a licensed instructor in the “Monart Method”. He currently lives in Florence KY with his wife and two children.
